About the Doctor

Dr. Stopa is a specialist in spinal trauma.  He provides comprehensive treatment for patients that experience whiplash injuries to the neck and spine.  He also works on patients with various conditions, including scoliosis, sports injuries, neck, arm, low back, leg and sciatica pain. Dr. Stopa uses the Gonstead Adjusting Techniques, as well as Thompson Drops for lumbar/pelvic and sacrum regions. 

After earning a Bachelor's Degree with honors in Pre-Medical studies consisting of Anatomy & Physiology, Dr. Stopa went on to receive his Doctorate Degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  He is now a Presidential Alumni.  While at Palmer College, he did extensive clinical work in spinal trauma and degeneration. 

Dr. Stopa was recently certified through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) and is pursuing a diplomate through the ACBSP, which will make him the only Chiropractor in Michigan with this certification.  Dr. Stopa is State Licensed and Board Certified, and is active in research for the advancement of the chiropractic profession.  He owns and operates a successful Chiropractic Clinic in Downtown Northville.  His facility has 5 rooms, 3 traction tables, an on site massage therapist, and a friendly front desk staff.  

Along with his involvement in the Northville community, Dr. Stopa has published numerous articles regarding health care.  He works with patients of all ages and provides them with the most advanced chiropractic techniques and quality care.  His facility offers on-site Radiology and off-site MRI's with St. Mary Mercy Hospital

Jodi Palmer	She is a certified Massage therapist, graduating from Irene's School of Myomassology in 2005. She also teaches yoga and pilates. Located in Main Street Family Chiropractics office by appointment. She also offers in home services. She has a 9 year old son who is the best thing that ever happened to her. Colleen	Colleen is our Office Manager. She has been with Main Street Family Chiropractic for about 8 years. She does an amazing job of keeping all office procedures, and responsibilities in place. She handles all of our office billing, and Insurance issues. She is married to her wonderful husband Carl, with 2 beautiful children; Waylen is 2, and Shiloh who is 7 months. She takes pride in knowing that her entire family is taken care of and receiving regular chiropractic adjustments.
Christine	Christine is our Assistant Office Manager, and CA. She has been with the clinic for about 9 years. Christine is responsible for all office duties including assisting the doctor, patient care, scheduling, taking x-rays, making sure all supplies are available and stocked etc. She has 3 amazing kids, Briana is 20, Jeremy is 16, and Michael who is 12. Her daughter has also given her first grand child, Henry who will be 2. She makes sure to educate her kids on the importance of getting adjusted and staying healthy.
Ashleigh	Ashleigh is PR, as well as CA. She has been passionately involved with chiropractic since 2007. She has experience with all office duties; x-rays, patient care, scheduling, insurance etc. She has an extensive background in Chiropractic marketing, to deliver the purpose and mission of Chiropractic. She is working on becoming a certified x-ray technician. She resides in Wixom and has been in a long term relationship going on 4 years. She looks forward to getting married in the near future!
